Remote Live Production for FIBA’s 2027 World Cup Qualifiers in Bahamas and Washington
BLITZ LIVE wrapped up the summer of 2026 in a spectacular way, joining forces with FIBA to deliver remote video production and live streaming for two top-level games in Window 4 of the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers competition.
On August 31, our team of specialists, powered by advanced live video production and streaming technology, handled the broadcast of two highly anticipated matchups: USA vs. Colombia and Bahamas vs. Panama.
The first game took place at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C., where the United States secured a convincing 104-80 victory. The hosts built their advantage in the first and third quarters, while the other two quarters ended level.
Cole Swider led the United States in scoring, while Orlando Robinson II recorded the most rebounds and finished as the team’s most efficient player.
For Colombia, Braian Angola stood out with 19 points. Cristian Solis led the team in rebounds, while Jaime Echenique was Colombia’s most efficient player.
The second game was played at the Sir Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium in Nassau, where the Bahamas claimed an 100-82 victory on home court. The Bahamas won three of the four quarters, led by V.J. Edgecombe Jr., who finished with 25 points. For Panama, Ricardo Lindo was the top scorer with 23 points and also finished as the team’s most efficient player.
The remote video production and live streaming of these two matches of 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup American Qualifiers represent another important milestone in BLITZ LIVE’s growing portfolio, strengthening the company’s long-standing collaboration with FIBA.
