BLITZ LIVE Expands Its Partnership with FIBA Across Seven Youth EuroBasket Championships This Summer
This summer, BLITZ LIVE is proud to partner with FIBA to deliver live video remote production for seven major FIBA Youth EuroBasket 2026 Championships, including three tournaments hosted in Romania.
Following the successful production of the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cups, BLITZ Technology continues to support FIBA’s international competitions by delivering high-quality live coverage of the U16, U18 and U20 European Championships. The tournaments are being held across Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy, Romania and Luxembourg, bringing together Europe’s most promising young basketball talents.
The first event, the FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket 2026 Division B, took place in Samokov, Bulgaria, from 4 to 12 July. Throughout the tournament, BLITZ LIVE successfully produced many of the competition’s key matchups, including:
- France U20 – Israel U20: 79-66 (Final)
- Spain U20 – Belgium U20: 81-59 (Third-place match)
- Spain U20 – France U20: 54-64 (Semifinals)
- Israel U20 – Belgium U20: 78-69 (Semifinals)
- Iceland U20 – Italy U20: 86-79 (Group phase)
- Sweden U20 – Germany U20: 44-72 (Group phase)
- Poland U20 – Italy U20: 91-60 (Group phase)
BLITZ LIVE’s summer schedule continues with the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2026, currently taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 11 to 19 July, where our production teams are delivering comprehensive live coverage throughout the tournament.
At the end of July, BLITZ LIVE will simultaneously support two major FIBA events. One production team will deliver video production for the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026 in Trentino, Italy, from 25 July to 2 August, while another team will be in Tulcea, Romania, producing the FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket 2026 Division B, scheduled from 31 July to 9 August.
The busy summer calendar continues with two U16 European Championships hosted in Romania. BLITZ LIVE will provide live video remote production services for the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2026 in Oradea (7–15 August) and the FIBA U16 Women’s EuroBasket 2026 in Pitești (14–22 August).
The company’s collaboration with FIBA will conclude with another youth championship in Bertrange, Luxembourg, taking place from 17 to 22 August, where BLITZ LIVE will once again deliver high-quality video production for one of FIBA’s premier youth competitions bringing basketball thrill closer to fans across the globe. All games will be streamed live on the FIBA official YouTube channel.
