BLITZ LIVE Continues Its Successful Partnership with FIBA for the U17 World Championships
BLITZ LIVE is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with FIBA this summer, providing live remote production services for two of the federation’s flagship youth basketball competitions.
The first event, the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup 2026, took place in Istanbul, Türkiye, from 27 June to 5 July, bringing together 16 of the world’s top national teams. Produced by BLITZ Technology, the tournament showcased the future stars of international basketball while delivering high-quality live coverage to audiences around the globe.
Team USA claimed its eighth consecutive U17 world title, defeating Serbia 107–81 in the Final, while Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.
Throughout the competition, BLITZ LIVE successfully remotely produced some of the tournament’s most important games, including:

The partnership continues with the FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026, taking place in Brno, Czechia, from 11–19 July. The tournament will feature 16 national teams, including basketball powerhouses such as the USA, Spain, Canada and host nation Czechia.
As one of Central Europe’s leading innovation hubs, Brno provides the perfect stage for another world-class basketball event. The defending champions, Team USA, return after winning their sixth U17 Women’s World Cup title in 2024.
